The development team successfully won the contract to provide an API for .ie domain registrations. In practical terms the development of the .ieXpress API allows users to perform various tasks, that would normally have to be done manually, by interacting directly with the Irish Domain Registry systems. A fully featured .ie domain order processing system.
The system features include:
* Ease of use: Takes orders online using a user friendly interface at www.register.ie
* Fast.ie registrations: Passes orders to the Irish Domain Registry website once standard validation checks have been applied by the system.
* Online Tracking: Provides the client with a tracking system for their .ie application through the Register.ie online accounts system(the NCM). By logging into the online system clients can see what documents are required for their application and can check to see the progress of their application from initial application to successful acceptance by the Irish Domain Registry. The system also emails the client at each stage of the procedure. |
