Press Release Eoin Costello elected to the board of the Irish Internet Association At the AGM of the Irish Internet Association on Thursday 12 th August 2004 the election to the board of Eoin Costello (managing director of award winning IT company Novara) was confirmed. A total of 13 candidates had sought election to the 6 positions available. Commenting on his election Eoin said that he would like to pay tribute to the good work done by the board in the past year in improving the finances of the organisation. He paid particular tribute to the IIA’s chief executive, Irene Gahan, who has done a considerable amount of work in raising the profile of the IIA. Eoin stated that he would like to see the IIA build on its position as the leading association representing the interests of the Internet industry in Ireland. |
